Our new home: Kuruçeşme
After Karaköy, Teşvikiye, Levent, Balmumcu and Etiler - an old Istanbul köşk fifty metres from the Bosphorus, with a garden.
A journey that began forty-four years ago in an attic in Karaköy carried on in a historic building in Teşvikiye, a villa in Levent, and rooms in Balmumcu and Etiler.
The partnership with Omnicom and TBWA that started in 2014 ended in 2024, and with it a new period began for us. The journey has come into its maturity: today we carry on independently, stronger and enjoying it more.
Kuruçeşme
One of the oldest neighbourhoods on the Bosphorus. We all talk about living in this beautiful city and never quite getting to enjoy it in the daily rush. This time we will meet spring on the water.
Kuruçeşme sits on the shore of a strait that has connected people, cultures and ideas for centuries - a place where conversations, ideas and daydreams flow. Not as distant as a palace, not as ordinary as a street. Right in between.
Öksüz Çocuk Sokak is where the city’s tempo drops a little: a small stop that lets you leave the noise outside and turn inward.
The house
An old Istanbul house in the form of a köşk, with a garden and open air. Fifty metres from the Bosphorus, and far enough from the city in the head.
Simpler. Breathing. More real.
After the pandemic, the relationship between work, the office and people changed. We see this house as the first step in turning that relationship back into something we enjoy - a meeting point where different talents and ways of making things come together, a place where everyone would want to do their best work.
Somewhere we meet as much as we work, and are social while we make things.
